How to Play Athena Tiles

Athena Tiles is a 5×5 symbol puzzle inspired by the logic of Sudoku and the wisdom of Athena, goddess of wisdom and strategy. The grid is filled with five sacred Greek symbols: Zeus's lightning bolt (⚡), Athena's owl (🦉), Poseidon's wave (🌊), Apollo's sun (☀️), and Artemis's moon (🌙). Your goal is to complete the grid so that every row and every column contains each symbol exactly once.

Some cells are pre-filled as "given" tiles — these are shown with a grey background and cannot be changed. Click any empty cell to cycle through the five symbols in order. If a symbol creates a conflict in its row or column (a duplicate), the cell turns red to alert you. Correct all conflicts and complete the grid to solve the puzzle and stop the timer.

Three difficulty levels are available. Easy reveals 15 cells (leaving 10 to fill), Medium reveals 10 (15 to fill), and Hard reveals only 5 cells (20 to fill). The timer starts on your first move and stops when the puzzle is correctly solved. Your best completion time for each difficulty is saved in your browser session. This is a pure skill game — there is no randomness in the outcome, only logic and strategy.
